This is a key support role ensuring our fleet and yard operations run smoothly day-to-day. What’s on Offer ✔️ Monday to Friday role – 9.5-hour days 6am -4pm ✔️ Stable, workshop-based position (no FIFO) ✔️ Supportive team environment in Kenwick ✔️ Work across a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant About the Role You will play a critical role in supporting workshop and fleet operations, including: Moving trucks, plant, and equipment within the yard and workshop Transporting vehicles to and from suppliers, sites, and inspection locations Assisting with yard organisation and housekeeping Supporting mechanics and workshop team with general duties Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting defects Assisting with loading/unloading of equipment where required Fleet You’ll Be Working With Truck-mounted EWPs Truck-mounted cranes (VLC & crane borers) Frannas Rigid & prime mover trucks Light vehicles (Hilux, Prado) Earthmoving equipment (excavators, etc.) About You Valid HR Licence (minimum) – HC highly regarded Experience operating trucks and/or mobile plant Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop/yard environment Strong awareness of safety and compliance Reliable, proactive, and team-focused Ability to assist with manual tasks when required Desirable (Not Essential) Experience in fleet, transport, or heavy industry environments Forklift ticket Basic mechanical knowledge Why Join Genus?
