Requirements Several years of classroom teaching experience, ideally across primary and/or secondary settings Prior experience in a leadership or coordination role, such as Head of Department, Senior Teacher, Assistant Principal or equivalent Experience mentoring early-career or provisionally registered teachers Experience supporting teachers who are skilled but new to the Australian education context Experience engaging with parents and community stakeholders, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds Experience in student wellbeing, behaviour management and pastoral care systems Experience in school growth or change management contexts, highly desirable Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school Current Working with Vulnerable People registration in the ACT SchoolHouse work in partnership with schools across all sectors, providing expert recruitment services to assist them in securing high-quality teachers and leaders.
