Our client is a large, nationally recognised business operating across a complex multi-site environment. They are seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join their finance team and partner closely with operational and commercial leaders to drive performance, improve decision-making and support strategic growth. This is a hands-on role that combines financial analysis, business partnering and commercial insight. You will work closely with sales, operations, supply chain and leadership teams to improve financial outcomes and support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Partner with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight and support decision-making. • Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes. • Deliver meaningful analysis of revenue, margin, labour, logistics and operational costs. • Support pricing decisions, tenders, investment proposals and business cases. • Analyse customer and product profitability, cost-to-serve and operational performance. • Identify risks, opportunities and initiatives to improve profitability and efficiency. • Develop financial models, dashboards and reporting tools to enhance business visibility. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance, reporting and business processes. About You • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion. • Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, FP&A or Management Accounting. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders. • Advanced financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capability. • Experience within FMCG, wholesale distribution, logistics, supply chain or other fast-paced operational environments highly regarded. • Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP and reporting systems. • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to translate complex financial information into practical business recommendations.
