About The Role: In this culturally significant role, you will: Deliver training in Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation through a cultural lens Embed First Nations knowledge, perspectives and connection to Country into teaching practices Support and mentor students, particularly First Nations learners , to succeed and feel a strong sense of belonging Create culturally safe and respectful learning spaces Share knowledge around land care, sustainability, and cultural responsibility Build and maintain strong relationships with community, Elders, and industry You will help students not only develop practical skills, but also a deep respect for Country, culture, and community responsibilities About you We are looking for someone who brings both cultural knowledge and lived experience , alongside industry capability: You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (genuine occupational requirement) Strong connection to community, culture and cultural protocols Experience in Agriculture, Horticulture, Conservation or related fields Passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring and empowering others Ability to engage learners in a culturally responsive and inclusive way Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to obtain) Highly valued: Experience teaching, mentoring, or working within community settings Qualifications in land, conservation, or environmental management Most importantly, you’ll be part of work that uplifts community, strengthens cultural knowledge, and creates pathways for future generations .
