AO3 Procurement Support Officer $51.12 per hour superannuation Build your CV with reputable QLD Government experience Full-time, Monday - Friday Initial contract to 11th of September 2026 with highly likely ongoing contract extension About the role This role supports regional service delivery through a range of procurement and purchasing activities. You will contribute to procurement projects, operational purchasing tasks and the delivery of procurement training and induction activities across the department. Key responsibilities Order materials and process purchase orders, work orders, field release orders and similar transactions for goods and services Undertake a range of procurement related projects, which may involve researching and assessing alternative strategies, processes and procedures, as well as producing reports. Assist with maintaining skills frameworks and developing training materials Coordinate contractor meetings, including scheduling and preparation of minutes Support the coordination and presentation of procurement training and induction sessions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative and departmental procurement requirements About you Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality outcomes. Procurement experience is highly desirable Experience within construction, infrastructure, mining or government is highly desirable. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Professional communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
