Fleet Manager required for an Australian business “BINNY DOSANJH PTY LTD” located in Beveridge VIC 3753. Prospective applicants must have good prior experience of working commercially as a Fleet Manager. Duties include. Managing the company vehicles, equipment and fuel. Organizing the purchase and maintenance of company vehicles. Negotiating with vehicle suppliers & dealerships for the purchase of vehicles. Develop and implement fleet management policies, procedures and maintenance schedules. Receive orders and bookings and implement transportation schedules Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality Coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime. Arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods Monitoring fleet performance, fuel consumption, maintenance costs and vehicle utilisation. Ensuring all vehicles comply with Australian road transport legislation, registration, insurance and safety requirements. Maintaining accurate fleet records, including registrations, servicing history, repairs, licences and compliance documentation. Managing relationships with external service providers, including mechanics, tyre suppliers, fuel providers and insurers. Monitoring driver performance and ensuring compliance with company policies, fatigue management and road safety requirements. Investigating vehicle incidents, accidents and insurance claims and implementing corrective actions. Preparing fleet budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities to reduce operating costs. Recommending vehicle replacement strategies and introducing new technologies to improve operational efficiency. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Coordinating vehicle allocation and ensuring fleet availability to meet business operational requirements. Supervising fleet administration staff and providing training and guidance where required. Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days/week and willing to work odd hours (Weekend, public holidays & late shifts).
