AYAN InfoTech is looking for OT (Operational Technology) Tester to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. . The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects. Role: OT (Operational Technology) Tester Location: Melbourne Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 7 Years Key Responsibilities: Candidate must help write test scripts applicable to the OT (Operational Technology) environment, based upon the FPS (Functional Performance Specification),, which the TMSO ( (Terminal Management System Operations or similar critical infrastructure) project is rolling out along with familiarity of the V-model and Systems Engineering principles. Extensive experience (5-7 years) in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems design. Extensive experience designing and delivering automated monitoring and control systems. Proven capability to architect and implement complex SCADA systems, including alarms, trending, and reporting functions. Strong hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, RTU/telemetry systems, and IT/OT networks and protocols, including Modbus, BACnet, and SNMP. Experience working in virtualised environments using VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. Ability to develop, read, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Ladder Logic and Statement List (STL). Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, including network security and OSI Layers 1 to 3. Proven experience producing high-quality engineering documentation, including system and architectural design documentation. Ability to design and deliver resilient engineering solutions that meet reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) requirements. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously on complex technical challenges. Experience with VTScada is desirable. Familiarity with systems engineering principles and lifecycle practices. Demonstrated technical leadership in guiding and supporting engineers and technical specialists across project and support activities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical and non-technical documentation for diverse audiences. Solid understanding of engineering artefacts produced throughout the full lifecycle of technology and infrastructure projects.
