Key Responsibilities: • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your designated kitchen section. • Assisting with the daily operation of the kitchen while maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation. • Monitoring food preparation and ensuring all meals are produced in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards. • Supervising and supporting junior kitchen staff within your section when required. • Ensuring ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and rotated in accordance with FIFO principles. • Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising food wastage. • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work area in compliance with food safety and WHS requirements. • Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods. About you: • At least one year of relevant experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar commercial kitchen role. • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards. • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for producing high-quality food.
