With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for prioritising safety and operational excellence, the are currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support on one of their major projects. About the Role As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a key site-based role supporting the safe delivery of works across a complex civil environment. You will work closely with the Project Director and Health and Safety Manager, to ensure smooth support delivery of site based WHS initiatives. This role is suited to someone who is confident working autonomously on site, engaging directly with operational teams, and driving practical safety outcomes in a fast-paced civil construction environment. Duties Implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation and project specific requirements Engaging with site teams and managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquires Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in Health and Safety performance Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact Key Requirements Strong background in civil construction environments Hands-on site-based Health & Safety experience within infrastructure projects Ability to operate independently while engaging effectively with project and site leadership Solid understanding of WHS legislation and practical application on live construction sites Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Local Australian experience required (Working Holiday Visa considered, but must have relevant local exposure) Opportunity This is a strong opportunity for a site-based HSE professional looking to step into a major civil project environment.
