AWX is preparing for upcoming labouring work across metro Melbourne where we will need reliable labourers and Trade assistants with Working at Heights. The work will involve assisting crews on rooftops and general site work including lifting materials, supporting trades and helping keep sites organised. The business operates across the commercial and residential solar and energy sector, with labourers assisting installation teams and site crews when required. While we are preparing for this upcoming work, we also have a variety of labouring opportunities across construction, general site work and manufacturing, so candidates may be considered for multiple roles. What you'll do Assist crews with lifting and moving materials on site Work at heights supporting trades and installers on rooftops Help with general labouring including site setup, cleanup and material handling Support crews to keep sites safe, organised and running smoothly Tickets & experience you'll need You'll need this gear sorted before you start: Working at Heights ticket (issued within the last 2 years) Construction White Card Labouring or construction experience Ability to get to South East suburbs Your own tools Comfortable doing physical work and working on roofs Benefits $36.62 per hour - $37.83 depending on skills travel allowance - Opportunity to pick up multiple labouring assignments Work with experienced crews across different sites About AWX AWX started out with two blokes, a people problem and a whole lot of grit and that's still how we run.
