This is a great chance to step into a key project management role within Queensland Government delivering meaningful building and construction outcomes across the region. About the Role This role plays a key part in supporting the provision of high-quality project management services, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all phases of building project delivery, from pre‑design and documentation through to contract administration and post‑construction activities. Manage end‑to‑end delivery of building projects across all implementation phases and take responsibility for quality and suitability of building product. Coordinate project teams and lead negotiations including consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. Provide high‑level contract coordination across traditional and non‑traditional contract models. Monitor project performance, develop exception reports and conduct project audits. Support monthly reporting including tracking costs, cash‑flow and financial trends. Assist senior project leaders with fee determination and documentation for client billing. Maintain strong client engagement and ensure a high‑quality project experience. What You’ll Bring Proven project management experience Familiarity with the Far North Queensland region Strong understanding of building and construction project lifecycles. Confident negotiation, communication, and coordination skills. A commitment to workplace health and safety. A valid driver’s licence.
