Locum Medical Registrar required for Launceston Hospital Location - Launceston General Hospital Start date - ASAP End date - Sun 02/08/26 Rate - $1500/DAY inc SUPER Roster - Mon to Fri, Days Weekend on-call Weekend shift - 11am – 3pm on call (1 weekend in every 2-3 weekends) HiTH’s sole purpose is to provide exceptional hospital level health care and ongoing support to the residents of Northern Tasmania to negate the need for hospitalisation in our mainstream facility and enable patients to remain in their own home and community under the watchful/vigilant eye of a dedicated health team. The Senior Medical Registrar will be responsible for working under the direction and supervision of the Medical Specialist to provide medical treatment and care to patients admitted to HiTH, day to day management of private and public patients and participate in patient reviews when clinically appropriate. Adhere to professional protocols, policies, clinical pathways and standards. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive medical care plan to patients admitted to HiTH. Demonstrate sound judgement and competence in accordance with skills and knowledge when undertaking tasks relating to patient care. Provide after-hours cover as directed.
