IT Support Engineer x 2 Snowy 2.0 Project Cooma based office role, 5/2 roster Site based role - 14/7 roster with site uplift About the opportunity This 100 Year old engineering firm is seeking an IT Specialist / Technician to support the delivery of the Snowy 2.0 project, one of Australia’s largest renewable energy infrastructure projects. This role will provide onsite technical support across the project environment, supporting users across office and site locations including Cooma and remote project locations as required. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for day to day IT support, troubleshooting, systems access, hardware and software issues, and supporting project teams using a range of engineering and construction technology platforms. About the role Key responsibilities include: • Provide technical support and troubleshooting across hardware, software, systems and user issues • Support project teams with IT related issues across office and site environments • Work closely with the wider IT and DSI support teams to resolve technical issues • Maintain accurate documentation including system information, configurations, troubleshooting records and support activities • Support IT asset management including hardware and software tracking, allocation and lifecycle management • Assist with ensuring IT systems meet security and compliance requirements • Support users across engineering, construction and project management environments About you You will be an experienced IT professional who enjoys working in a hands on support environment and can build strong relationships with users across a complex project environment. You will ideally bring: • Experience providing onsite IT support within a corporate, project, engineering or construction environment • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, systems and user access issues • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote IT teams • Strong communication skills and the ability to support users at all levels • A proactive approach with a focus on resolving issues and delivering great user support Experience with some of the following platforms would be highly regarded: • Microsoft 365 environment • SharePoint • Primavera P6 Professional • Aconex Construction Project Management Software • Autodesk Revit • Revizto • SAP ECTR • LMS Project Management systems Why join Snowy 2.0?
