Our client is fast-growing creative experience agency, looking to appoint a new Art Director role in their expanding Sydney team. Known for delivering exceptional brand experiences, activations, events and immersive campaigns, this agency continues to grow its creative offering and is investing in senior creative talent to support an exciting pipeline of work across lifestyle, sport, retail and consumer brands. The role: Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing concepts to life, leading projects from a creative perspective and mentoring a talented team of designers. This is an opportunity for a hands-on creative who enjoys both developing big ideas and ensuring exceptional execution through every stage of project delivery. Lead the visual development and execution of experiential, event and brand experience projects Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers and Designers to bring creative concepts to life Develop and oversee project decks, presentations and creative responses Provide art direction across events, activations, environments, content and brand communications Mentor and guide designers, helping elevate creative thinking and output across the team Manage projects from a creative perspective, ensuring quality, consistency and attention to detail throughout delivery Present creative work confidently to clients and internal stakeholders Create and review design assets, visualisations and production-ready artwork where required Stay across emerging trends in experiential design, events, culture and creative technology Support new business pitches and creative development opportunities The candidate: We're looking for an experienced Art Director with a strong background in experiential design, events, activations or brand experiences. You will be equally comfortable leading creative thinking, mentoring designers and rolling up your sleeves to execute work when required. Previous experience as an Art Director or Senior Designer within an agency environment Strong experience delivering experiential, event, activation or brand experience projects Demonstrated ability to lead creative projects from concept through to execution Proven experience mentoring and developing junior and mid-weight designers Advanced proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator Strong 3D visualisation skills, with Rhino experience highly regarded Excellent presentation and communication skills Strong understanding of production processes and the realities of live event delivery A collaborative and proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams A portfolio that showcases exceptional creative thinking, design craft and concept development Salary & Benefits: Salary package of $120,000 - $130,000 plus super depending on experience Hybrid working environment Clear opportunities for long-term career growth as the agency continues to expand Collaborative, creative and ambitious studio culture This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Art Director who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and wants to help shape the creative output of one of Australia's most exciting experiential agencies.
