Security Asset & Logistics Coordinator Key Details Duration: 12 months with potential 12-month extension Hourly Rate: $63–$70 Location: Canberra Security Clearance: Negative Vetting 1 (minimum requirement) Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Security Asset & Logistics Coordinator to support a high-profile security program. Working within a specialised security team, you will coordinate the management, maintenance and distribution of security assets across a network of sites. This role combines logistics coordination, asset management, stakeholder engagement and procurement support to ensure critical security equipment is effectively deployed and maintained. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and project leads to manage security asset lifecycles, maintain asset records and support operational security requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage security equipment inventory and assist with procurement activities to maintain required stock levels. Maintain asset registers and databases for security equipment Coordinate logistics arrangements to support asset deployment and replacement requirements. Process and track equipment deliveries and receipts. Liaise with stakeholders regarding equipment preparation, delivery requirements. Support asset replacement programs Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders regarding security equipment and related processes. Manage shared mailboxes, document management systems and records. Prioritise and manage workload to meet multiple deadlines. Undertake additional project and administrative duties as required. Highly Regarded Experience Asset management, logistics or supply chain coordination experience. Experience supporting security, facilities or operational teams. Knowledge of Commonwealth procurement processes and procurement rules. Experience working within a Federal Government environment. Understanding of public sector governance, compliance and policy frameworks.
