The Opportunity Verve Partners are partnering with a highly regarded specialist electrical engineering consultancy with a long-established presence in Newcastle and a national project footprint. This is not a generalist electrical role. The position sits within a highly technical engineering team delivering specialist high voltage earthing, testing, analysis, reporting and design solutions across critical infrastructure projects. With continued demand across major infrastructure, utilities, transport, mining and renewable energy projects, the business is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer who can bring strong technical judgement, lead project outcomes and work closely with senior leaders, clients and developing engineers. Your role will include: Leading HV earthing system analysis, design and reporting Delivering and overseeing earthing testing, including soil resistivity, fall of potential and current injection testing Preparing and reviewing technical designs, assessments, calculations, inspections and reports Using specialist earthing design software, with CDEGS highly regarded Applying broader HV power system knowledge, with PTW or ETAP experience desirable Managing project scope, budgets, programme, risk and client expectations About You You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in HV earthing and the confidence to operate in a senior technical capacity.
