Oakden Green is a 40-bed multicultural aged care facility located in the North-Eastern suburb of Oakden, in Adelaide's north-east. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team for Tuesday and Wednesday morning shifts (7:00 - 15:15) . The position is initially casual with the opportunity to transition to permanent after 3 months. What We Offer A friendly and close-knit team environment Ongoing support from approachable management Opportunities for professional development Pathway from casual to permanent employment after 3 months Convenient suburban location with on-site parking Key Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of person-centred care during morning shifts Lead and support care staff on shift Perform clinical assessments and manage clinical deterioration Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation Respond to emergencies in accordance with facility protocols Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards Essential Requirements Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions Desirable Skills Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential) Familiarity with electronic documentation systems Strong clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, care planning, and escalation procedures Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
