About the Role The Veterinarian position is responsible for providing veterinary consultations, diagnosing medical conditions, delivering treatment plans, and supporting the ongoing health and wellbeing of animals under the care of the practice. The role involves clinical examinations, preventative healthcare, client communication, and maintaining accurate medical records. Location: 3619 Forest Hill Fernvale Road, Fernvale QLD Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $95,000 to $105,000 Superannuation Key Responsibilities Conduct clinical examinations and assess the health of animals presenting to the practice Diagnose illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions using appropriate clinical methods and diagnostic tools Develop and implement treatment plans for a range of animal health conditions Prescribe medications and provide veterinary care in accordance with professional requirements Perform routine veterinary procedures and preventative healthcare services Administer vaccinations and provide animal health advice to clients Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical and treatment records Provide guidance to animal owners regarding treatment options, ongoing care, and preventative health measures Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver quality patient care Maintain professional standards and follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times Skills & Experience Relevant qualification in Veterinary Science or equivalent qualification recognised for veterinary practice in Australia Minimum 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar role Strong understanding of veterinary medicine, diagnostics, and animal healthcare practices Experience conducting clinical consultations and developing treatment plans Strong communication and client relationship skills Ability to work effectively within a clinical team environment Strong organisational, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills How to Apply Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and suitability for the position.
