This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual who enjoys variety and working in a hands-on environment. About Our Client Our client is a well-established provider of ship repair, maintenance and marine engineering services, supporting commercial and defence marine industries. They pride themselves on delivering quality workmanship while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. What You Will Be Doing Receiving, dispatching and packing materials and supplies Operating a forklift to move marine components and equipment Assisting mechanical trades, blasters and painters Loading, unloading and relocating boat, barge and ship parts General yard and workshop housekeeping duties Using hand and power tools including drills and grinders Assisting with general maintenance and workshop support tasks Maintaining a safe and organised work environment What You Will Need Current Forklift Licence (LF) White Card Previous warehouse, yard or stores experience Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools Physically fit and able to work both indoors and outdoors Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Reliable, punctual and motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to commit to a long-term position What's in it for You?
