As a Trade Commercial Technical & Disposal Officer This role is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to both internal Relationship Teams and external clients, while building and maintaining strong relationships with dealerships, suppliers, and auction houses. The position also provides technical expertise and support to both internal and external stakeholders. What you'll be doing Source and evaluate pricing for specialised equipment Provide recommendations on residual values and maintenance positions for non-standard assets and lease terms Manage asset build processes as required Deliver sales support and high-quality customer service Provide technical expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders Oversee stock management of returned leased and client-owned assets Maximise returns on disposed assets by selecting optimal disposal strategies Experience and Skills Tertiary qualification in Automotive, preferably with a focus on commercial vehicles or specialised equipment Extensive experience within the motor industry, particularly across heavy vehicles Proven experience in customer service and/or supplier negotiation Strong ability to build and maintain productive relationships with supplier networks Excellent communication and presentation skills Demonstrates a commitment to high-quality output, with strong attention to detail and a proactive, forward-thinking approach Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively A little bit about you Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively Drive process consistency and continuous service improvement Adopt a collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated working style Deliver high-quality outcomes with strong attention to detail and a forward-thinking approach Flexible to travel as required for site visits, supplier engagement, and inspections Safely inspect and assess heavy vehicles and related equipment, working across workshops, yards, and outdoor environments Ability to operate motor vehicles and relevant equipment (subject to licensing) and comply with WHS requirements, including PPE use What's next We'd love to hear from you if you're ready to take on your next challenge at a company that embodies diversity and belonging while also offering work-life balance and career development.
