Role overview The purpose of the Software Engineer role is to design, develop, and maintain reliable software solutions that directly support the company’s operations, client requirements, and growth strategy. This role ensures that business systems and applications are secure, scalable, and compliant, while enabling automation, innovation, and seamless integration across platforms. Key responsibilities Implementing end-to-end payment gateway integrations with Dynamics 365 Commerce POS. Designing and developing custom payment connectors and Commerce Runtime (CRT) extensions. Building and customizing Retail Server APIs, POS extensions, and Hardware Station integrations. Developing asynchronous payment processing workflows using Azure Functions, Service Bus, and webhooks. Integrating Azure API Management (APIM) for secure API exposure, validation, and monitoring. Creating custom APIs, extension properties, and TypeScript proxy generation for e-commerce integrations. Managing deployment and release activities across Dev, UAT, and Production with Azure DevOps pipelines. Preparing technical design documents, architecture diagrams, API specifications, and as-built documentation. Developing plugins, workflows, and custom APIs for Dynamics 365 CRM and Dataverse. Performing code merges, solution deployments, and CI/CD pipeline management. Building RESTful APIs and Power Automate flows for seamless integration and business events. Customizing SSRS and ER reports to improve operational efficiency and data presentation. Providing technical/functional support, liaising with vendors, and managing upgrades/migrations. Qualifications and skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Skills: Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, SQL, JavaScript). ERP/CRM Exposure: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise systems. Cloud & Tools: Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI). Experience: 1–2 years of software development or IT industry experience (minimum).
