About the company: Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Asset Manager to maximise the technical performance, reliability and availability of a portfolio of utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) assets across Australia. About the Role: This role is ideal for someone passionate about renewable energy who enjoys combining technical expertise, performance analytics and stakeholder management to optimise asset performance throughout the operational lifecycle. Responsibilities: Monitor plant performance using SCADA, AEMO and operational data. Analyse generation performance, availability, Performance Ratio (PR) and asset KPIs. Lead incident investigations and technical root cause analysis. Manage O&M contractors, maintenance programs and technical service delivery. Conduct regular site inspections and technical audits. Coordinate warranty management, defect resolution and EPC obligations. Monitor compliance with National Electricity Rules (NER), safety requirements and environmental obligations. Prepare technical reports and performance recommendations for internal and external stakeholders Skills & Experience: Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Renewable Energy Engineering. Experience in technical asset management within utility-scale solar, BESS or renewable energy. Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, inverter technology, plant performance analytics and O&M contracts. Understanding of the National Electricity Market (NEM) and AEMO operations is highly regarded. Advanced analytical skills with experience using Excel, Power BI and data visualisation tools.
