An exciting opportunity now exists for a motivated Sales Representative to join the Retail & Trade division and contribute to the continued growth of the business. Reporting to the Business Manager – Retail & Trade, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while driving sales growth and profitability across an established customer base. This is a hands-on sales role focused on account management, business development, customer service and identifying opportunities to expand market share within the retail and trade channels. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow retail and trade sales across your territory Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders Achieve sales and margin targets Implement sales strategies to support business growth Present and promote products to customers and industry groups Work closely with Marketing and Technical teams on new product opportunities Attend trade shows and industry events Manage customer enquiries and resolve issues effectively Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management initiatives Manage debtor relationships where required Provide regular sales reporting, market feedback and growth strategies to management Deliver outstanding customer service both on-site and remotely To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Previous experience in sales, account management or business development Strong relationship-building and customer engagement skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities A proactive and self-motivated approach Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment Commercial acumen and a focus on achieving results Confidence presenting products and solutions to customers Experience within: Construction products Building materials Hardware Trade supplies Industrial products will be highly regarded but is not essential.
