Description Building Services | Melbourne We are seeking an experienced Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our Melbourne Building Services team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving the delivery of medium to large-scale projects across a diverse portfolio, including defence, data centres, commercial and infrastructure. The Role In this role, you will: • Lead the mechanical design and delivery of medium to large-scale building services projects • Take ownership of project outcomes from concept through to construction • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team • Manage project scope, programme and budget, ensuring successful delivery outcomes • Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, architects and external stakeholders • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and repeat work • Review designs and documentation to ensure technical quality, compliance and constructability About You Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects. You will bring: • 10–12 years’ experience in mechanical building services engineering • Proven experience leading medium to large-scale projects within a consultancy environment • Strong technical capability across HVAC and mechanical systems • Deep understanding of Australian Standards, NCC and authority requirements • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, clients and multidisciplinary coordination • Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing others • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach Why You’ll Love Working Here This is a workplace that genuinely trusts and empowers its people.
