About the Position: The Retail Manager (General) is a key leadership role responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of Deep Indian Supermarket. This position oversees all aspects of store performance, including inventory control, product selection, pricing, marketing, customer service, staff leadership, and financial management. The Retail Manager ensures the store maintains high standards of service and compliance while driving sales and operational efficiency. This role is essential to upholding the business’s reputation for quality and reliability and supporting its ongoing growth in the competitive specialist grocery sector. Key Responsibilities: Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions Undertaking budgeting for the establishment Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
