Role Overview As a Freight Forwarder, you will support day to day freight handling operations within a fast paced logistics environment. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of freight to ensure timely dispatch and delivery. Flexibility, reliability, and a strong safety focus are key to success in this position. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently Sort, scan, and stage freight for outbound and inbound movement Handle palletised, loose, and sensitive freight with care Assist with inbound receiving and outbound dispatch processes Check freight against manifests and report discrepancies Use of RF Scanners Ensure correct allocation of freight to designated delivery zones Maintain a clean, organised, and safe dock area Working Conditions Casual / on call employment with variable hours Asorted daily weekly sorted will suit flexible work arrangements Shifts AM and PM – duration of shifts 4 -5 hours Physically active role involving lifting, bending, and squatting Exposure to warehouse and outdoor dock environments Potential for increased hours during peak periods About You: Experience in RF Scanning New starters in transport and logistics are welcome Physically fit Must be able to pass a pre employment medical This role will have deployment sites throughout Perth Airport and Welshpool locations.
