An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and passionate Cook to join our dedicated team at Palms Aged Care Service in Ingham, Queensland, with the ability to work at our Rockingham Aged Care Service in Cardwell as well. In this rewarding casual role, you will help create nutritious, high-quality meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to our residents, while supporting their individual dietary and nutritional needs.Working within a collaborative kitchen team, you will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment.Enjoy the opportunity to work across both our Cardwell and Palms services, where you will support residents while building meaningful connections with two welcoming and supportive teams.Your ResponsibilitiesAs our Cook, you will:Prepare and cook a variety of meals with care, creativity, and attention to dietary requirementsEnsure all kitchen, food preparation, and storage areas are maintained to high hygiene and infection-control standardsMaintain accurate kitchen records and stock documentationAssist with stock ordering and liaise with suppliers and supervisors regarding kitchen suppliesWork collaboratively with the kitchen team to support smooth daily operationsContribute ideas for menus, themed meals, and special eventsWhat You Will BringYou are someone who genuinely enjoys working with older people and understands the important role good food plays in health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
