Position Description: Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs following injury or illness — physical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations Support clients to define meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers or insurers, monitor progress, adjust plans, and support sustainable outcomes Provide expert advice — ergonomic, workplace-modification, functional capacity or return-to-work Build relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders: clients, their treating practitioners, employers, insurers — helping bring everyone together around a shared goal of recovery and reintegration Position Requirements: Must have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology with work experience Registered with AHPRA Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment A current WWCC (Working with children check) Full Australian working rights A driver’s licence and willingness to work in different settings (workplaces, client homes, remote-onsite assessments) A collaborative, problem-solving mindset After Hours Requirements: No About Cairns: Cairns, considered the gateway to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, is a beautiful city located in tropical Far North Queensland with the Rainforest at your doorstep.
