The Position We are seeking an efficient and highly motivated Health Information Officer/Clinical Coder to join our team. This role is being offered on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for high-quality clinical coding, compliance with national standards and efficient management of patient records to support clinical care, funding, reporting and organisational decision making. Day to day duties will include, but not be limited to: Perform accurate and timely clinical coding of inpatient episodes using ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and ACS standards. Review clinical documentation to ensure completeness and clarify information with treating clinicians when required. Participate in regular coding audits, data quality activities, and variance analysis. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and participate in ongoing professional development.
