About the Role: We are looking for a talented, ambitious, and passionate Interior Designer who has worked hard to establish a solid foundation and is now looking for the next step up in their career. This is an outstanding opportunity for a discerning designer to leverage their experience and join our growing National Interior Design team as we continue to produce award winning designs. We work on projects individually and as a team, managing a project from end to end, including documentation in Revit across multiple sectors including Workspace, Health Science, Commercial, and Education, so any experience in these sectors will be highly regarded. Vital to our success is our ability to communicate designs and ideas through all mediums including Revit and Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup and more progressive design technology including VR. General Duties: Contribute to all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation, on-site construction management and contract administration Contribute to client briefings, workshops, design, and design development Create designs and documentation packages in Revit Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms including Revit, Enscape, Indesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, VR, etc. Work cohesively in both small and larger teams About You: You are passionate about design and thrive on collaboration and outcome-driven work. Having already proven yourself as an imaginative designer with the right work ethic, you are now looking to take a step up and work on large-scale, complex, and rewarding projects. You need to be a ‘doer,’ with enough experience to take the initiative on projects and with the desire to begin stepping up into more of a leadership and client-facing role, under the guidance of more senior designers. Your professional and confident approach to dealing with clients, consultants, and stakeholders will be a pivotal part of ensuring your success in this role. As a national Revit firm, you will need strong Revit skills and an ability to produce drawings up to an acceptable level for design development. To be successful in this role you will need: A Bachelor degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, or similar qualification Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial interior design practice or environment, ideally with some Workspace, Commercial, Healthcare or Education experience Solid Revit skills Ability to contribute to all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation to on-site construction management and contract administration A good understanding of the fundamental BCA’s and related building regulations and specifications Strong presentation and rendering skills; Sketch-up, Indesign, Photoshop, Enscape, Rhino, Office Suite will be highly regarded Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with team members, consultants, and clients Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects Take personal pride and accountability in your work The capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously Ability to work on more than one project as required What is on Offer?
