We’re currently partnering with a leading manufacturing business in Melbourne’s southeast, seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their night shift team. Sunday to Thursday basis. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, where you’ll play a key part in maintaining plant reliability, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring safe, efficient operations. The Role Reporting to the Maintenance/Asset Care leadership team, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out reactive and preventative electrical maintenance across production equipment Troubleshooting faults and supporting machine reliability improvements Completing maintenance work orders on time, in full, and to required safety and quality standards Working closely with production teams to support autonomous maintenance practices Using CMMS/ERP systems to manage maintenance tasks and identify trends Supporting continuous improvement initiatives (5S, root cause analysis, asset care, etc.) Assisting with contractors, OEMs, and site projects when required Ensuring compliance with Australian Electrical Standards , GMP, and site safety protocols About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria) Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience post-apprenticeship Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment (highly regarded) Strong fault-finding skills across automated production equipment Exposure to PLCs, control systems, and networked plant equipment Experience using CMMS or ERP systems A proactive mindset with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork Highly desirable: Cert IV in Instrumentation Experience with preventative maintenance systems (e.g. FMECA) Exposure to GMP, HACCP, or ISO environments Experience with utilities (boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems) What’s on Offer Stable, full-time night shift role Competitive pay shift loading overtime opportunities Work with a modern, automated production facility Supportive team culture with a strong safety focus Opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation Career growth within a well-established business Apply Now If you’re a motivated Maintenance Electrician looking for your next opportunity on a night shift, we’d love to hear from you.
