Grange Resources Tasmania is on the lookout for a Mine Production Engineer to join our operation in Savage River. An exciting opportunity is available for a Mine Production Engineer to join our Mine Technical Services team at Savage River. In this role, you will be responsible for production engineering functions to support our mining operations. This is an opportunity to work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Day to day In this role you will be responsible for: Coordinating and completing the Mine Operations Weekly Plan that aligns with the 3MP (3 Month-rolling Plan) and longer-term forecasts Monitoring actual daily performance against weekly plan targets and deriving operationally achievable corrective actions Identifying shortfalls and continuous improvement opportunities Recommending safe and efficient mine production changes to maximise mine efficiencies safely using the mine reporting systems Completing project work to support continuous improvement for mine production Who you are To be successful in this role you have: Hold tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering and demonstrable at least 1 year work experience in a role Be a strong team player with the ability to work across a diverse team to achieve planned outcomes Have excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (EXCEL, Word, Power BI) Experience with Surpac (Designing) and XECUTE(Scheduling) software packages would be an advantage Current full manual driver's licence Have a continuous improvement attitude and understanding of LEAN Principles Who we are We're Grange Resources , Australia's oldest and most experienced magnetite producer - combining both mining and pellet production expertise.
