An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Visual Arts Teacher & Year Coordinator to join the team. This is a key pastoral and teaching role, with a strong emphasis on student connection, wellbeing and engagement, alongside creative teaching across the Visual Arts curriculum. About the Role: Teach Visual Arts across Years 8, 9 and 10 Lead Year Coordination responsibilities, supporting student wellbeing and pastoral care Build strong, positive and supportive relationships with students and families Deliver engaging, differentiated and creative Visual Arts programs Contribute to curriculum development and faculty collaboration Work closely with staff to support student engagement and wellbeing initiatives Opportunity to contribute to co-curricular activities, including sport (if applicable to candidate skillset) Flexibility to integrate additional expertise in a second creative discipline such as Music, Drama and/or Dance, depending on candidate strengths About You: Qualified Teacher with NESA accreditation (or eligibility) Strong experience teaching Visual Arts in a secondary setting Demonstrated strength in pastoral care and student wellbeing support Exceptional ability to build positive and meaningful student relationships Creative educator with the ability to inspire engagement and participation Experience or interest in Year Coordination responsibilities Additional expertise in Music, Drama and/or Dance highly regarded Collaborative, proactive and community-minded approach What's on Offer: Full-time 12 month contract teaching and leadership opportunity Small, supportive independent school environment Strong focus on student wellbeing and personalised learning Opportunity to shape and influence creative programs across the school Flexibility to incorporate additional creative strengths into the role Welcoming and community-driven culture To Apply: Submit your application.
