Working within a dynamic maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of plant and equipment across a large-scale manufacturing environment. About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, machining, fabrication, and repair work on a variety of mechanical equipment and assets. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical plant and equipment. Carry out precision machining, fitting, and fabrication activities. Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions. Complete preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation. Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards. Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner (or equivalent mechanical trade). Demonstrated experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, sugar milling, or heavy engineering environments. Strong machining, fitting, and fault-finding skills. Experience working with pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, rotating equipment, and hydraulic systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement. Current driver's licence. What's on Offer Permanent full-time employment.
