Austek Roads (ACT) are seeking a skilled full time Spray Seal Labourer / Spreader Truck Driver to join our team in Hume, ACT. What you'll be doing Safely operate heavy vehicles, plant and equipment Safe labouring duties may include but not limited to shovelling and raking, running wheelbarrow, safely positioning and unloading trucks for spray seal operations Follow direction of Crew leader, site foreperson, project manager and other senior managers Safe manual handling practises Perform pre-operational checks and maintenance on all assigned equipment Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures What we're looking for Current driver's licence (HC/HR) and ability to obtain necessary construction certifications Experience on spray sealing works / asphalt crews White card Silica and Asbestos awareness training Proficient in the operation and maintenance of bitumen spraying equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, quality results Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the construction crew Commitment to workplace health and safety What we offer At Austek, we are dedicated to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
