ECT / Lead / Educator / Cook – Kool Beanz New Service Opening Soon Clear Island Waters An exciting opportunity has become available for experienced Early Childhood Teachers, Lead Educators, Educators and a Centre Cook to opening of our brand-new service in Clear Island Waters very soon. This service will be licensed for 130 children. The Roles: Early Childhood Teacher As an ECT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping meaningful learning experiences that support children's growth, development, and sense of belonging. You will lead your learning environment with purpose and creativity, delivering engaging, play-based and inquiry-driven programs that encourage exploration, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. You will foster inclusive and respectful relationships with children and families, recognising and valuing each child's unique identity, culture, and voice. Working collaboratively with your Educational Leader and fellow educators, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and professional excellence. Through thoughtful planning, observation, and assessment, you will create inspiring learning environments that nurture curiosity, confidence, and wellbeing. You will implement the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline in meaningful and responsive ways, supporting children's transitions, school readiness, and ongoing learning journey. Your leadership, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality early childhood education will have a lasting impact on the lives of children, their families, and the wider community. Lead Educator As a Lead Educator, you will provide leadership and support to your team while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for children. You will create purposeful learning spaces and experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and development. By recognising and advocating for the rights of every child and valuing childhood as a unique and important stage of life, you will help children thrive. Working collaboratively with families as children's first and most influential teachers, you will build strong partnerships and ensure high-quality educational practices are embedded throughout the service in line with national early childhood frameworks and standards. Educator As an Educator, you will work collaboratively with families and fellow educators to deliver high-quality early learning experiences. You will support each child's individual strengths, interests, and developmental journey, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to learn. Cook As a Cook, you will contribute to the wellbeing of children by preparing nutritious, balanced, and age-appropriate meals and snacks in a safe and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, ordering supplies, stock management, and maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety. Working closely with the education team, you will ensure all dietary requirements are met and support the centre's daily routines. You will also demonstrate a willingness to expand your knowledge of children's nutrition, including the specific dietary needs of infants and young children. About You: Early Childhood Teacher – A Bachelor or Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent Lead Educator – Diploma or working towards Educator - Certificate III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or working towards the qualification. Cook – ideally somebody with Childcare cooking experience with a cooking qualification and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain this certificate) Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates. Paid working with children check (Blue Card). Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks/workload. Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking. Enthusiastic, positive, fun and outgoing attitude. Approachable and friendly with a demonstrated passion for early education. An understanding of EYLF. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships.
