As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for driving employment outcomes across the Southwest Victoria, being based in Geelong or Corio; leading a dispersed team, forging employer partnerships, and ensuring every site delivers results that matter. We are looking for a strong leader who is energized by complexity, can hold the big picture and the day-to-day detail at the same time, and fosters the level of trust that inspires teams to perform at their best. What You Will Do Build and sustain a high-performing team across locations, setting clear expectations and developing capability at every level Identify local labour market opportunities and develop targeted strategies to connect job seekers with sustainable employment Drive performance through data, monitoring outcomes, diagnosing issues early, and responding decisively Manage the full people lifecycle, from hiring through to ongoing development and accountability Maintain operational excellence across multiple sites; organized, accurate, and always across the detail Experience in employment services is not essential. What is essential is a demonstrated ability to lead diverse, geographically dispersed teams to consistently achieve strong outcomes, maintain performance and momentum across multiple locations.
