About the Role You will deliver evidence-informed Occupational Therapy services across a diverse adult caseload, including: NDIS participants with physical, psychosocial, neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions Individuals recovering from injury within workplace rehabilitation, life insurance, CTP and other insurance frameworks Clients requiring functional, environmental, and vocational assessment The role involves autonomous practice within a supportive, collaborative team, with access to structured supervision, clinical leadership and ongoing professional development. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive functional assessments, including ADL/IADL performance, environmental needs, and capacity evaluations Develop and implement individualised intervention plans aligned with participant goals and funding frameworks (NDIS, workplace schemes, private health insurance) Complete high-quality clinical documentation and reports (e.g., FCA, progress reports, return-to-work planning) Deliver capacity-building interventions using a strengths-based, neuroaffirming, and person-centred approach (e.g., therapy programs) Provide assistive technology prescription and minor environmental modification recommendations Collaborate with stakeholders including support coordinators, employers, insurers, and multidisciplinary teams Support return-to-work planning, graded duties, and vocational rehabilitation strategies Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission and relevant legislative requirements About You You are a thoughtful, adaptable clinician who values both clinical rigour and genuine human connection. You bring: Minimum 1 years' Occupational Therapy experience (NDIS) Strong skills in functional assessment, clinical reasoning, and report writing Experience or interest in vocational rehabilitation / return-to-work services A commitment to person-centred, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming practice Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Essential Requirements: AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapist) Current driver's licence Eligibility to work in Australia NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) Why Join The Rehabilitation Specialists?
