Camberwell Endodontics is looking for a trainee dental assistant. We are a specialist dental practice located in Camberwell so this position would be ideal for someone living in the eastern suburbs. We are located in a residential street just off Burke Rd and parking is available. Our hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 am until 5.30 pm with a 9 day fortnight. Salary is above award for Dental assistants. We provide training and support to undergo a Level 3 Certificate in Dental Assisting. This is an opportunity for someone who is seeking a career change, a recent school leaver or perhaps someone who has commenced tertiary studies but has found that it is not for them at this stage. Dental assistants work closely with Dentists to provide patient care. Our patients are referred to us for Endodontic treatment which is a specialist area in Dentistry. Our Dental Assistants gain experience in all aspects of clinical care including patient support, instrument re-processing, data entry, assistance with radiographs and patient sedation. We have a great team of experienced Dental Assistants who will assist with your training. We can also provide training in front office and reception duties. The person we are looking for first and foremost likes working with people and being part of a coordinated and friendly team. They should also be responsible, reliable and willing to learn.
