About the role Strathpine GP Superclinic is not your average GP practice. It was the first GP Superclinic built in Queensland and the second fully functional GP Superclinic in Australia. Today it operates with 14 GPs, 6 Nurses, a fully equipped treatment room, on-site allied health, and 4Cyte Pathology on site. We are open 7 days a week and are a fully accredited GPTQ teaching practice. We're looking for a Full time/part-time or casual Registered Nurse who can step in confidently, handle a varied clinical workload, and work well in a busy, team-focused environment. If you want a role where you actually use your skills every day, this is it. What you'll be doing The treatment room is properly equipped and you'll use all of it. Day to day the role covers: • Triage and patient assessment • Acute and chronic wound care, including lacerations and fractures • Immunisations, vaccinations and travel medicine • Iron infusions • ECG and spirometry • Cryotherapy and minor surgical procedure support • Health assessments - 45-49yr and 75 year programs • Care plans for patients with chronic and multidisciplinary needs • Indigenous health services • Ear care and pre-employment medicals • Supporting the GP team across consultations and procedures • Accreditation What we're looking for • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse • Demonstrated experience in general practice or primary healthcare - you know the pace and you're ready for it • Strong clinical skills across the scope listed above • Clear communicator who works well in a large, multidisciplinary team • Reliable and flexible - part-time and casual shifts require dependability when rostered Experience with Best Practice software is an advantage, but not a dealbreaker for the right candidate.
