Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist based in Adelaide, SA. The Occupational Therapist will provide compassionate, client-centered care for children by designing and implementing tailored therapy plans that prioritize strength-based and neurodiversity-affirming practices. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with families and support networks, and documenting progress. The role requires an empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to support each child's unique goals and enhance their independence and quality of life. Qualifications Proficiency in conducting assessments, designing intervention plans, and analyzing outcomes Understanding and application of neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based therapeutic practices Experience in working with children and their families to foster relationships and support development Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant registration and qualifications Commitment to trauma-sensitive care and cultural competence Passion for continuing education in neurodiversity practices and emerging therapeutic approaches Experience in the pediatric or disability sector is highly advantageous
