About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Program Manager to lead the delivery of a major enterprise-wide cyber security transformation program within a large, complex, and operationally diverse organisation. This is a high-profile leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery of a multi-year cyber uplift agenda, helping strengthen organisational resilience, security maturity, governance, and risk management capabilities. You will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to shape and execute a strategic program of work that delivers measurable security outcomes while supporting broader business transformation objectives. The role requires a seasoned program delivery professional who can confidently operate across both business and technical environments, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You will oversee program governance, planning, delivery execution, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, financial management, and risk mitigation, while ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to enterprise priorities. Working alongside executive stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, delivery partners, and vendors, you will play a key role in driving a large-scale cyber security transformation program that spans people, process, technology, governance, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale enterprise cyber security transformation program Establish and drive effective program governance, reporting, controls, and delivery frameworks Manage program scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and benefits realisation Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting, steering committee updates, and governance artefacts Coordinate cross-functional teams across cyber security, technology, architecture, engineering, operations, and business functions Manage delivery partners, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure successful program outcomes Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment across senior leadership, technical teams, and business units Ensure delivery standards, methodologies, quality controls, and governance requirements are consistently applied Support enterprise cyber maturity uplift, resilience initiatives, security assurance, and compliance outcomes Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence About You You are a proven Program Manager with a strong track record delivering complex cyber security, technology transformation, or enterprise uplift programs within large and operationally complex environments. You bring a combination of strategic thinking, governance expertise, stakeholder management capability, and delivery leadership, with the ability to influence and engage effectively at both executive and technical levels. To Be Successful, You Will Have: Proven experience leading the end-to-end delivery of large-scale cyber security transformation programs Demonstrated success delivering enterprise security, technology transformation, risk, governance, or resilience initiatives Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, governance models, risk management, and security controls Experience managing complex programs involving multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholder groups Strong financial management capability, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and benefits tracking Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and executive reporting skills Experience operating within large enterprise, managed services, infrastructure, digital services, or technology-led organisations Strong governance capability across delivery assurance, reporting, RAID management, and program controls Ability to engage confidently with architects, engineers, security specialists, and senior business leaders Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams within fast-paced and evolving environments Highly Regarded Experience Delivery of cyber maturity uplift programs aligned to Essential Eight , ISO 27001 , NIST , or Defence-related security frameworks Experience supporting security assurance, privileged access management, identity and access management, Zero Trust initiatives, penetration testing, or broader cyber resilience programs Exposure to highly regulated, critical infrastructure, Defence, government, or enterprise environments Experience delivering programs within hybrid Agile, Waterfall, or blended delivery environments Qualifications & Certifications The following qualifications and certifications will be highly regarded: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, MSP, or equivalent program management certifications CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or related cyber security certifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines Why Apply?
