Service Coordinator – Commercial HVAC We are working with a well-established and highly respected commercial HVAC contractor that has been delivering high-quality air conditioning solutions across South East Queensland for over 20 years. Their client portfolio spans hospitality venues, shopping centres, corporate high-rises, and university campuses, supported by an experienced in-house team of engineers, draftspeople, and project managers who deliver reliable and technically robust outcomes. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Scheduler / Service Coordinator to join the service division and act as the operational nerve centre supporting technicians, clients, and internal stakeholders. About the Role This is a permanent, office-based role responsible for coordinating day-to-day service and maintenance activities for a busy commercial HVAC service team. You will play a critical role in ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, technicians are supported in the field, and clients receive timely, professional service. Key Responsibilities: Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate service technicians to reactive and planned HVAC service calls Monitor, prioritise, and manage incoming service and maintenance requests Maintain accurate job records, scheduling, and invoicing using simPRO or a similar job management system Liaise with technicians to book jobs, order parts, and confirm job requirements Communicate with clients regarding job scheduling, progress updates, and service outcomes Act as the key point of contact between field technicians and office-based staff Assist with inventory control and ordering of parts and consumables Coordinate service and maintenance contracts in collaboration with the projects team and clients Provide administrative and scheduling support to the service department as required About You: Experience using simPRO, ServiceM8, or a similar service management platform (highly regarded) Previous experience coordinating service or maintenance work within HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or construction environments Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple jobs under pressure Excellent communication and customer service skills Confident computer skills, including email and job management systems Professional, reliable, and solutions-focused approach to work What’s on Offer: Permanent role with a stable and growing commercial HVAC contractor Competitive salary package of approximately $90,000 super Office-based role located in Morningside Supportive team environment with long-term career progression opportunities Fast hiring process with interviews available next Monday and Tuesday If you are an experienced Service Coordinator looking to step into a key operational role within a respected HVAC business, we would love to hear from you.
