The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to direct and scale the product design capability within the Product & Experience team. This leadership role sets the product design strategy, establishes standards and frameworks, and leads multidisciplinary teams to deliver customer-focused, omni-channel experiences. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and executives to embed evidence-led practices, ensuring product design aligns to enterprise strategy, operational priorities, and community outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Design strategy: Define product design roadmaps and align to enterprise priorities. Evidence-led practice: Institutionalise human-centred design and embed customer voice across decision-making. Business impact: Ensure design contributes directly to measurable organisational and community outcomes. Design operations: Lead governance, tooling, and resourcing to ensure efficiency and scale. Team leadership: Mentor, coach, and grow product designers, building a high-performing design culture. Influence & communication: Translate complex design concepts into clear, compelling stories for executives and stakeholders. The Right Fit This role suits a senior design leader with a balance of strategic vision, operational rigour, and people leadership.
