Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Officer to join our dynamic Growth and Liveability team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the Gilgandra community while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Full time 35 hours week Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year! Weekly pay cycle Salary range - $1526.67 - $1831.99 ABOUT THE ROLE To role is responsible for delivering Council’s communications and community engagement for the Council as a whole. Please click HERE to view the full position description ABOUT YOU Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications: Demonstrated understanding and commitment to WHS issues Current drivers licence Minimum 2 years work related experience Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, media and public relations, marketing, community development or equivalent Excellent level of oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Possess an enthusiastic self motivated attitude with a helpful disposition Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to set project priorities and establish activity / project outcomes to achieve set and agreed departmental goals; Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner.
