Job Description The Interim Financial Controller will be responsible for but not limited to: Manage and oversee the preparation of financial reports, including budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions. Oversee cash flow management and optimise financial performance. Assist with audit queries and requirements Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals within the accounting & finance department. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies. Monitor and control financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls are in place. Work closely with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability. The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Manager should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA. Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations. Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
