Job Description Lead end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness Manage, mentor, and support a team of payroll professionals Provide hands-on leadership during pay cycles and peak periods Resolve system issues, payroll exceptions, and process gaps Drive SAP SuccessFactors adoption and reduce manual processes Strengthen payroll controls, audit readiness, and compliance frameworks Manage high-volume workforce complexities (multiple roles, variable pay rates, etc.) Partner with Finance, HR, IT, and vendors on data flow and system integrity Lead process improvement initiatives and change adoption Manage risk, compliance, and payroll governance requirements The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will bring: Proven Payroll Manager experience in complex, high-volume environments Strong systems troubleshooting and process improvement capability Confidence and experience to drive change High attention to accuracy, compliance, and risk management Strong stakeholder engagement across Finance, HR, and IT Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors (or similar large ERP systems) A collaborative, visible leadership style with accountability focus What's on Offer Immediate start 3-6 month contract High-impact leadership opportunity during a critical period Exposure to enterprise-level payroll complexity Hybrid working (Parramatta WFH flexibility) Supportive and experienced team environment Potential temp-to-perm opportunity
