We are seeking a Full-time Mobile Plant Operator with strong capability in maize and silage harvesting, specifically operating CLAAS Forage Harvesters and associated machinery. This Role supports our harvest seasons and ongoing horticultural operations. Located in Regional Victoria - Business based in Warragul, Victoria with travel from southern to northern victoria. Key Responsibilites - - CLAAS Forage Harvester Operation, skillfully operate CLAAS Jaguar or similar forage harvesters for Maize and Silage production ensuring clean chop quality and optimal throughput. - Harvest Management, Conduct full cycle harvest operations, including cutting, chopping, processing and coordinating carting staff members. - Machine Set Up and calibration, Configure feed rollers. Maize Processor, shear bars, knives and chop length settings to match crop conditions. - Field Preparation and Crop Assessment, Assess crop maturity, moisture levels, and paddock coniditons to determine opitmal harvest timing. - Maintenance and Repairs, perform servicing and maintenance as required. This role will also require Record keeping for office purposes, Team coordination and Safety and compliance. Skills & Experience - - Proven Experience operating CLAAS Forage Harvesters or similar high capacity machines. - Strong Understanding of Maize and Pasture Silage Systems. Salary of $75,000 - $80,000 Superannuation Applications Required by 10.07.2026 Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 per year Work Location: In person Require at least a Certificate III or higher and a minimum of one year of relevant experience
