We're looking for a motivated and analytical Scheduler to join our Service Planning team. What You’ll Be Doing As a Scheduler, you'll support the planning and optimisation of our bus network by developing efficient timetables and schedules that balance customer needs, operational performance, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining bus timetables, vehicle schedules, crew rosters, and scheduling data within HASTUS Managing scheduling datasets and maintaining the integrity of scheduling files Analysing operational performance including patronage, running times, delays, and on-time running Supporting service planning activities including route design, timetable improvements, and network adjustments Developing cost-effective, practical, and compliant scheduling solutions Using scheduling and modelling tools to test service scenarios and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitoring network performance and recommending timetable changes where required Supporting planning for special events, disruptions, and seasonal service changes Ensuring schedules comply with fatigue management requirements, industrial agreements, and operational policies Preparing reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal stakeholders Working closely with Operations, Depot teams, Drivers, and Network Planning to deliver practical scheduling outcomes Why This Role is Exciting This role offers the opportunity to contribute to services that thousands of passengers rely on every day while building your expertise in public transport planning.
