About the Role Due to the impending retirement of one of our longest term TEAM members, a.sign is seeking an experienced Sign Fabricator / Metal Fabricator to join their talented production team. This role is primarily workshop based and will involve the fabrication, assembly and finishing of a wide variety of custom signage projects. Working with sheet aluminium, steel and other signage materials, you will play a key role in transforming concepts into high-quality finished products. Unlike repetitive fabrication environments, a.sign produces a diverse range of custom signage projects, ensuring variety and interesting work every day. Whilst your primary focus will be fabrication and welding, you'll also be a valued member of the broader production team and willing to assist with general workshop and production activities as required. Key Responsibilities · Fabrication and assembly of custom signage products · Processing and preparation of sheet aluminium and steel · MIG/TIG welding and metal fabrication activities · Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and specifications · Operating workshop equipment and fabrication machinery · Assisting with signage assembly and finishing · Maintaining quality standards throughout production · Supporting workshop workflow and project deadlines · General production assistance when fabrication requirements are up to date · Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment About You: To be successful in this role you will be a practical, hands-on individual who takes pride in producing quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
